Friendly: U.S. U-20 men conclude Marbella camp with draw

• After losses to French and English U-20 national teams by a margin of 8-2, the U.S. U-20s concluded play at Spain's Marbella Football Center with a 0-0 tie against Serbia U-21s. In the shootout that followed, keeper Ivan Gutesa stopped two penalty kicks to give Serbia a 4-2 win.
• USA starting XI -- Slolina; Cuevas, Ferkranus, Craig, Wynder, Gomez, Pukstas, McGlynn, Luna, Yapi, Aaronson.
Hmmmm--insufficient in attack or defending? We're not as advanced as we were lead to believe. Still, great learning experience for our boys. They need this type of competition a couple times per year. Sometimes you need some humble pie to make that cherry pie all the more sweeter.
