Rokas Pukstas' bid to win the UEFA Youth League with Hajduk Split ended when it was crushed by Dutch club AZ, 5-0, in a battle of U-19 teams in the final played in Geneva. AZ had reached the final with a shootout win over Portugal's Sporting, Before that, AZ's knockout wins were over Eintracht Frankfurt 5-0, Barcelona 3-0 and Real Madrid 4-0. The match drew about 4,000 Hajduk fans at the Stade de Genève.
