Juventus' 4-2 loss with Americans Weston McKennie and Tim Weah featured two own goals. McKennie, who started and was replaced by his compatriot Weah in the 60th minute, pressured Matías Viña when the Sassuolo defender struck into his own goal to make it 1-1 after a blunder by Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny gifted Sassuolo the lead.
But the game's most memorable error came when Federico Gatti received a pass from Szczesny and struck the ball into the goal Szczesny abandoned to initiate the restart in stoppage time.
