    -- Dan Borislow, owner of the WPS's magicJack, on being fined $10,000 by league for public statements that are derogatory and not in the best interests of the league. Earlier this month, the league deducted a point from the magicJack for Borislow's continued noncompliance with league rules such as lack of sponsor signage, failure to upload game video, failure to have a functioning web site, and stadium capacity less than 5,000. Included among his statements was, "The league is dying, and may not even be around next year, so I am doing what I can to keep it going." (South Florida Sun Sentinel)
