    1. The New England Revolution acquired Argentine striker Gustavo Bou from Tijuana in a deal the Boston Globe reported involves payments of $12 million in transfer fees and guaranteed salary, and more if certain thresholds are met. Bou, 29, moved to Xolos in 2017 from Racing Club in Argentina. The Revs were last in the Eastern Conference when Brad Friedel was fired in May, but they have not lost since Bruce Arena was hired and are tied with Toronto FC for seventh place, trailing only on goal difference.

    2. Inter Miami reached a final agreement with the city of Fort Lauderdale on plans for the development of the former Lockhart Stadium site when city commissioners unanimously approved plans to make the site its training facility and temporary home. Inter will begin construction of a 18,000-seat stadium that will serve as its home for the 2020 MLS season. It has plans to make its permanent home at Miami Freedom Park, but they remain hung up in the approval process.

    3. Sebastian Soto came off the bench and scored two goals to give Hannover 96 a 3-1 win over Grazer AK at its training camp in Austria. Fellow U.S. U-20 Chris Gloster started at left back. Hannover 96 has three more friendly games before it opens the German second division on July 26 at VfB Stuttgart. Both Hannover 96 and VfB Stuttgart were relegated.
