  • Around the country: Offseason moves

    1. The Orlando Pride has parted ways with executive vice president of soccer operations Amanda Duffy. She joined the Pride in early 2020 from her position as the NWSL president. The move follows the purchase of Orlando City and the Pride by the Wilf family in July. Duffy also served as the president at Louisville City, where she was the first female president of a USL pro club.
    -- Report: The Equalizer reported that UCLA women's coach Amanda Cromwell will be the Pride's new head coach. The former University of Virginia star spent 14 seasons at UCF before taking charge of UCLA. She led the Bruins to their first national championship in her first season in 2013.
    2. Anthony Pulis, 37, has left his position as an assistant coach at Inter Miami to return to the USL Championship, where he will be the Miami FC head coach. The Englishman was the head coach at Orlando City B (2016-17) and Saint Louis FC (2018-2019).
