  • Major League Soccer: Summer movement

    - Ravel Morrison is reunited with Wayne Rooney. D.C. United signed the 29-year-old Jamaican International on a free transfer from Derby County, where he played last season for Rooney. The English-born Morrison began his career in the Manchester United academy and has bounced around 12 clubs in the last decade. Most have been in the English Championship but he also played at clubs in Italy, Mexico, Sweden and the Netherlands.

    - Ajani Fortune signs Homegrown deal with Atlanta United. The 19-year-old Trinidad & Tobago international, signed from Atlanta United 2, effective Jan. 1, 2023. The Raleigh, North Carolina, native signed his first pro contract from the Atlanta United Academy in August 2021.
