• Olympic Men's Semifinal Update: Argentina 0 Portugal 0 (halftime)
Argentina and Portugal are scoreless at halftime of their semifinal match in Athens, Ga. It has been a lackluster first half, according to SA's Mike Woitalla. "It looks like a game between two tired teams -- Portugal has done almost nothing." The Portuguese have been outshot 10-0 so far, but Argentina's only good scoring chance came in the final minute of play. Claudio Lopez had an open net, but Portuguese substitue Nuno Afonso (who replaced Beto in the 8th minute) cleared the ball off the goal line.
