    MLS has fined Dallas Burn head coach Dave Dir $250 for verbal abuse of an official following a 2-1 loss in Kansas City April 18. MLS also fined Wizards assistant coach Guy Newman $250 for his actions in the same match. Newman poured the contents of a plastic water bottle on Burn midfielder Mark Santel as play took place in front the Kansas City bench.
