• U.S. Women to travel to Brazil for two friendlies
    The U.S. women's national team will travel to Brazil Dec. 8-15 for two friendlies with the 1996 Olympic semifinalist. The U.S. will play Brazil twice, Dec. 11 and Dec. 13. Starting goalkeeper Briana Scurry is sitting out the trip, while Michelle Akers is limiting her travel on the advice of her doctors.
