    U.S. women's national team forward Mia Hamm will a pair of upcoming matches against New Zealand (May 30 in Washington D.C. and June 2 in Oneonta, N.Y.) due to an injured right hamstring she suffered against Japan on May 17.     Forward Carlos Hermosillo, Mexico's all-time leading international scorer, has signed a multi-year contract with Major League Soccer and has been allocated to the Los Angeles Galaxy. "We're delighted that after nearly three years of pursuit we have finally been able to acquire Carlos," MLS commissioner Doug Logan said.     The San Jose Clash has acquired Mexican forward Francisco Uribe, a ten-year veteran of the Mexican First Division. Uribe, a 32-year-old forward, spent the 1997-98 season with Veracruz. He began his career in 1986 with UNAM and has played with Coyotes de Neza, Atlanta, Leon (where he won the 1991 championship), America and Tigres.
