    Yavapai of Prescott, Ariz., won the NJCAA Division I title with a 4-3 win on penalty kicks over Mercer County (N.J.) after the teams tied, 2-2, Sunday in the final in Tyler, Texas.The Roughriders, who won their fifth national JC title in 10 appearances in the final, also beat Mercer County in last year's final.This year's clash was the sixth time Yavapai and Mercer have met in the final. Yavapai also beat Mercer in 1997. The Vikings beat Yavapai in the 1991, 1995 and 1996 finals.
