The USA takes part as a guest team in the South American championship for the first time since finishing fourth in 1995. The Americans' first game is Thursday -- four days after lifting the Gold Cup title -- against Argentina. The U-20 World Cup, which will air live on ESPNU, TeleFutura and Galavision kicks off on Saturday. The U.S. U-20s face South Korea on Saturday at 5 pm ET.

    The U.S. women's national team continues preparations for the 2007 World Cup when it takes on Brazil in a friendly (a rematch of the 2004 Olympic gold medal game won by the USA) on Saturday in New Jersey (ESPN2 & Univision). The U.S. men meet archrival Mexico in the Gold Cup final on Sunday (Fox Soccer Channel and Univision). In USL action on Friday, Rochester hosts Atlanta. Also on the United Soccer Leagues front, the Fox Channel Soccer's "USL Breakaway" provides highlights and player and coach features (Friday, 6/29).

    Boca Juniors takes a 3-0 lead into the second leg of the Libertadores Cup semifinal on Wednesday (Fox Sports en Espanol). On Thursday, the USA faces Canada in the Gold Cup semifinals (Fox Soccer Channel & Telefutura) while Mexico clashes with Guadeloupe (Telefutura). ESPN2's Thursday night MLS clash is Houston-Chivas USA.

    The weekend is highlighted by four Gold Cup quarterfinals, including the USA-Panama rematch of the 2005 final on Saturday on Fox Soccer Channel and Univision. Fans can watch David Beckham's final game for Real Madrid, which hosts Real Madrid with La Liga title on the line on Sunday. In addition, there is a full slate of MLS games.
