Domenico Scala, the head of FIFA’s audit and compliance committee, set out his plans to reform soccer’s world governing body on Thursday, Sky Sports reports. Scala’s25-page report says FIFA is a success story that has been damaged by structural problems caused by rapid growth. His eight-point plan for reform includes new integrity checks for senior-ranking execs,as well as a three-term limit for the highest positions, executive committee elections by the FIFA Congress, salary disclosure for key execs, as well as structural changes for the executive committee.Sky Sports noted that it is by no means a certainty that Scala’s changes will be adopted by the organization.
