Youth movement: San Diego Loyal signs second teen pro
• The USL Championship’s San Diego Loyal signed 18-year-old midfielder Xavi Gnaulati to a pro contract. He was signed to an academy contract in 2021 from Loyal Select and has played in three U.S. Open Cup games in 2022-23. He’s the second pro signing from Loyal Select after U.S. U-17 keeper Duran Ferree.
