MLS has announced its 2025 playoff schedule, which start with two conference wild-card games — four days after “Decision Day” — to determine the field of 16.

Oct. 18 (Saturday): Decision Day 2025
All 30 teams in action on MLS’s final regular-season matchday.
Oct. 22 (Wednesday): Wild Card games
No. 8 vs. No. 9 seeds in each conference, single-game elimination games.
Oct. 24 (Friday)-Nov. 9 (Sunday): Round of 16/conference quarters.
Best-of-3 series.
Nov. 22 (Saturday)- Nov. 23 (Sunday): Quarterfinals/conference semis.
Single-game elimination games.
Nov. 29 (Saturday)-Nov. 30 (Sunday): Semifinals/conference finals
Single-game elimination games.
Dec. 6 (Saturday): Final/MLS Cup
Hosted by the finalist with the better regular-season record.
