[AWARDS] Tampa Bay Rowdies forward Georgi Hristov won the Golden Ball award as the NASL’s Player of the Year. The Bulgarianled the Rowdies in scoring with 12 goals and had eight assists after joining the team this season after a decade in Bulgaria with short stops in Poland and Israel. Atlanta Silverbacks coach Brian Haynes was named NASL Coach of the Year, and the Silverbacks led all teams with three players on the NASL Best XI.
