• New England takes 24 players into offseason. The Revs exercised the options on nine players, bringing their roster to 24 players. They include Jozy Altidore, who has been on loan at Mexico’s Puebla and might want to move elsewhere. Said head coach and sporting director Bruce Arena, “We’ll work with him to see if that’s possible.” On the Revs’ wish list, according to Arena: another striker, help in the central midfield, and more experience on the backline.
