• Josh Cohen‘s Maccabi Haifa advances to Champions League. Maccabi Haifa rallied from 2-0 down in the first half for a 2-2 tie against Crvena zvezda in Belgrade and advanced, 5-4, on aggregate. Cohen, 30, was in goal for all six matches in qualifying. He will play in the UEFA Champions League group stage for the first time. Maccabi Haifa’s last appearance in group stage was in 2009 when it lost all six games, five by 1-0 and one by 3-0.
