Omar Gonzalez, arguably the most dominating center back in MLS history, has been transferred from the LA Galaxy to Mexican club Pachuca for an undisclosed transfer fee. Gonzalez, afirst-generation Mexican-American with lots of family in Mexico, has been rumored to be headed to Liga MX for several years even after he re-signed with the Galaxy in 2013. His transfer is a huge boonto the Galaxy in terms of its salary budget management.
