FC Dallas’ Atiba Harris took time off from MLS to captain St. Kitts & Nevis in 2018 World Cup qualifying with mixed results. He scored his team’s lone goal in a 4-1 second-legloss to El Salvador but gifted the Salvadorans this goal in the first-leg 2-2 tie — dribbling far too close to the goalkeeper, losing his footing, and serving up Irving Herrera. ElSalvador advanced to the third round of qualifying with the 6-3 aggregate win.
