• Owen Otasowie wins Belgian Super Cup. A year after being transferred from Wolves in a $4 million move, the 20-year-old midfielder finally debuted for Club Brugge, starting and playing 59 minutes in its 1-0 win over Gent. Otasowie landed in Coach Philippe Clement’s dog house and never saw the field for the Brugge first team in 2021-22. With a change in coaches and strong preseason, he got the start when Frenchman Stanley Nsoki was suspended.
