• Bajung Darboe, 16, has signed with LAFC as a Homegrown Player to a four-year contract with a club option for 2027. It acquired Darboe’s homegrown priority rights from Minnesota United for $50,000 in 2024 GAM. He spent 2022 with Philadelphia Union II in MLS Next Pro, leaving without signing a pro contract and then pursuing tryouts in Europe. Darboe had played for Minnesota United in the Development Academy in 2019-20 — hence the Loons’ homegrown rights — but left after it scaled back its academy program.
