After the FIFA international break, MLS is back with a full slate of weekend action. Here are five players to keep a close eye on in MLS’s Matchday 6.

Sam Surridge (Nashville SC)
Up Next: Saturday, April 4 at Chicago, 8:30 pm ET (Apple TV)

If you’ve missed it, Sam Surridge has been balling out so far. With seven goals in MLS (eight in all competitions), the Englishman is on top of the Golden Boot race, despite missing a match with illness.

Surridge is one to watch anyway just for the sheer volume of goals he’s scoring. But his matchup against the Chicago Fire makes Saturday’s game even more worthwhile. In four games against the Fire, he’s scored seven goals. Last season, he bagged four goals in a 7-2 demolition at Geodis Park. The only MLS club he’s scored more on is the New England Revolution, needing seven games to score eight times.

For whatever reason, Surridge loves playing Chicago.

Juan Manuel Sanabria (Real Salt Lake)
Up Next: Saturday, April 4 vs. Kansas City, 4:30 pm ET (Apple TV)
