Mexico legend Cuauhtemoc Blanco brought the curtain down on a glittering 23-year career by lifting the Copa MX title with Puebla in 4-2 win against Chivas on Tuesday. Blanco, 42, came offthe bench in the 70th minute with Puebla already ahead by two goals. A veteran of three World Cups, the former Mexico international is second on the all-time leading goal-scorer list at former clubAmerica, which he represented from 1992-2007. He is also second on El Tri’s all-time leading scorer list, tied with Real Madrid striker Javier Hernandez with 39 goals.
