• Goalkeeper Josh Cohen won Ligat Ha’Al, the top-flight Israeli league, for the third season in a row with Maccabi Haifa when it beat Maccabi Netanya, 5-1, to open up a five-point lead in the championship round with one game to play. Cohen, 30, attended UC San Diego and played for the USL Championship’s Orange County Blues, Phoenix Rising and Sac Republic FC before moving to Israel in 2019.
