The Vancouver Whitecaps’ leading scorer (8 goals) will miss all but two of their remaining games after MLS’s disciplinary committee added three games on to his red-card suspension for cleating Nashville SC’s Alex Muyl in the back of his head after he knocked over the midfielder in their match won by Nashville SC 3-0 in Aug. 27. The Canadian World Cup candidate will be eligible to return on Oct. 1.
