Lucas Cavallini suspended for four MLS games. The Vancouver Whitecaps’ leading scorer (8 goals) will miss all but two of their remaining games after MLS’s disciplinary committee added three games on to his red-card suspension for cleating Nashville SC’s Alex Muyl in the back of his head after he knocked over the midfielder in their match won by Nashville SC 3-0 in Aug. 27. The Canadian World Cup candidate will be eligible to return on Oct. 1.
