• Haley Carter has been hired by the Orlando Pride to serve in the newly created position club’s Vice President of Soccer Operations and General Manager. Carter, a former coach, licensed attorney and U.S. Marine officer, played goalkeeper for the Houston Dash and in 2019 served as a consultant for the club’s scouting and recruitment. She served as Afghanistan’s women’s national team assistant coach and in 2021 helped orchestrate the evacuation of more than 100 people from Kabul, Afghanistan, including national team members and their families, amid the Taliban takeover.
