Atletico Madrid has agreed to sign Colombian striker Jackson Martinez from FC Porto, the player’s agent told AS on Tuesday. “It (Atletico) is a very big club which has had a lotof success in its league and in Europe and Jackson is going there full of desire to do great things,” agent Luiz Henrique Pompeo said, adding that Atleti had met the club’sbuyout clause of $39.1 million. Martinez is Atleti’s second striker signing this week, after completing the signing of Luciano Vietto from Villarreal on Monday.
