One coaching position with lots of job security is NWSL head coach. The NWSL went through the entire 2014 and 2015 seasons and 2014-15 offseason without a coaching change. But four days after the endof the 2015 regular season, Tom Durkin has stepped down as head coach of the last-place Boston Breakers. He was also the coach of the Breakers in 2014 when theyalso finished last, and he leaves having amassed a record of 10-29-5. He’ll assume a director of coaching role in the Breakers’ academy.
