Maryville University announced that Lori Chalupny, who just retired after playing for the U.S. Women’s World Cup championship team, will take over the Saints women’s program after the2017 season. She first joined Maryville as an assistant coach in August 2013.
 
Chalupny, who played professionally with the NWSL Chicago Red Stars in 2015, earned 106 caps for theUSA before she announced her retirement as a player.
