Premier League champion Chelsea is poised to complete the 8 million-pound signing of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from Stoke City, the Guardian reports. Begovic will most likely be JoseMourinho’s No 2 keeper, as reports claim that Thibaut Courtois remains his first-choice. Chelsea had been looking for a backup goalkeeper following the departure of Petr Cechto Arsenal last week. Separately, Blues midfielder Marco van Ginkel has moved to Stoke on a one-year loan in what is considered a separate deal to the Begovic transfer.
