Chelsea on Friday signed striker Radamel Falcao on a season-long loan deal from AS Monaco, with an option to make the deal permanent. The Colombian spent last season on loan withManchester United, where he struggled to make an impact, scoring just four goals in 29 appearances. In joining Chelsea, the 29-year-old links up with several of his former Atletico Madrid teammates:Diego Costa, Thibaut Courtois and Filipe Luis. In return for Falcao, Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic will head to Monaco.
