[NASL REWIND: Week 13] The New York Cosmos clinched the NASL fall title when they came from behind to beat the San AntonioScorpions, 2-1, on the road with only 10 men. The win secured a berth in Soccer Bowl Nov. 9 at the Atlanta Silverbacks (ESPN3, ESPN Deportes, 7:30 pm ET).
The Cosmos fell behind from a goal by Polish striker Tomasz Zahorski for the Scorpions after only three minutes, but former Spanishinternational Marcos Senna and Bulgarian striker Stefan Dimitrov scored within two minutes to give New York the leadearly in the second half.
The Cosmos held on despite the ejection of defender Dane Murphy in the 74th minute. Cosmos coach Giovanni Savarese followed him to the showers two minutes later.
