Poland held reigning World Cup champion Germany to a scoreless tie, dropping the  Euro 2016 scoring average to 1.89 goals a game. Through 18 games, no team has scored more than two goals ina game.

Wales blew a 1-0 lead on a great goal by Gareth Bale, losing the Battle of Britain to England, 2-1, on goals by Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge, the latterin the first minute of stoppage time.

Northern Ireland beat Ukraine, 2-0, to join Wales (a 2-1 winner over Slovakia) and Slovakia (2-1 over Russia) as the three newcomers who have won.
