The United States U-20 national team is set to open its World Cup campaign in Argentina on Saturday against Ecuador. The tournament has been very important to U.S. Soccer over the past decade as players have used it move closer to the full national team. But even aside from development, the tournament has served its own end for many players to represent their country at a very high level.
