[AROUND THE COUNTRY] South Carolina senior Kayla Grimsley scored the first golden goal of her career to give theGamecocks a 2-1 victory over visiting Charlotte Thursday night.

Grimsley now sits at 98 points in her career (37 goals and 24 assists), two shy of becoming the second Gamecock to crack the100-point mark.

— Sophomore Eileen Maes scored with 59 seconds left in overtime to give Washington State a 2-1 win at Gonzaga 2-1. The game-winner washer fourth goal of the season.
