Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has remained silent on his future plans amid rumors that the Spaniard is being lined up to replace Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, ESPN reports. Guardiola, whose contract is up at the end of the season, told reporters in July that he had no intention of speaking about his plans publicly until he had informed his club, and even walked out of a newsconference last month when asked about the England national team job. “Please, it’s October,” Guardiola said ahead of Bayern’s DFB-Pokal second round game at Wolfsburg on Tuesday. “I haveto continue winning games, because that’s what the fans want. I don’t talk about it [the contract] every week.”
