[AWARDS] Mick Hoban, the first player contracted to the Portland Timbers before their inaugural season in the NASL in 1975,was inducted on Saturday into the Portland Timbers’ Ring of Honor. Hoban, who has since his playing career had a prominent career in American soccer marketing, became the fifth person honored theTimbers.
