• Less than five weeks before the opening kickoff on May 20, FIFA named Argentina to host the three-week Under-20 Men’s World Cup as a replacement for Indonesia.
• Stadiums. No stadiums have been confirmed, though conflicts will likely prevent Argentina’s two most famous stadiums, El Monumental and La Bombonera, from being used.
• USA. The 24-team field includes the USA, the Concacaf champion. It reached the quarterfinals at the last three tournaments (2015, 2017 and 2019).
• History. Diego Maradona (1979) and Lionel Messi (2005) won U-20 championships with Argentina, the winner of a record six titles.
• Draw. The draw will be held on Friday in Zurich.
