Thomas Bach, the president of the International Olympic Committee, said Friday that no countries intend to pull out of the Summer Olympics because of the Zika virus. He said he has “fullconfidence” in what Brazilian authorities and global health organizations are doing to combat the outbreak of the mosquito-borne virus but he added that the IOC was taking the situation veryseriously.
