[ELITE EIGHT: #8 UCLA] Jorge Salcedo was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year after leading UCLA to its third conferencetitle in four years, but all five Bruins who made the all-conference first team are gone. A crisis in Westwood? That’s unlikely as Salcedo has plenty of replacements ready to step in and play keyroles.

RETURNEES. Salcedo is counting on senior Ryan Hollingshead, a second-team all-conference pick, to leadthe Bruin midfield, which lost Kelyn Rowe and Andy Rose, who have both been starting regularly in MLS. Javan Torre and Grady Howe are two highly players in the Los Angeles Galaxy academy program,while Holden Fender, who was recruited out of Georgia’s Concorde Fire, represented the USA at the 2010 Milk Cup. German midfielder Leo Stolz arrives at UCLAafter spending one season at George Mason.
