With the acquisition of Brazilian star Robinho — for $19 from Manchester City — AC Milan will have four star attackers in its lineup: Robinho, compatriots AlexandrePato and Ronaldinho and Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Questions have been raised as to how Robinho will fit into the lineup that contains.

“We can play whichever formation we want,” Robinho said. “If I have to drop back to allow Ibra (Ibrahimovic) to score, then so be it. It doesn’t matter who scores, what isimportant is that Milan scores.”

The 26-year-old Robinho joined Manchester City in 2008 but halfway through last season he joined Santos on loan in Brazil to ensure his place in the2010 World Cup squad.

“In the summer I had contact with a number of clubs, but nothing concrete,” he said. “I’ve always wanted to play at Milan as it is one of thebiggest teams in Europe and all the Brazilians who have played there have great things to say.”
