Florida was the only higher seeded team to fall in the third round of the NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament when No. 3 seed Duke rallied to beat the No. 2 Gators, 2-1, in Gainesville. Defendingchampion Florida State moved into the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament with its ninth straight shutout win, a 2-0 decision over Auburn on Sunday afternoon. The four quarterfinalmatchups: Florida State-Texas A&M, Stanford-Duke, Penn State-West Virginia and Virginia-Rutgers.
