1. NY Red Bulls transfer Clark to RB Leizpig.
2. Clark remains at NY Red Bulls for 2021 season.
Feb. 9, 2022
3. NY Red Bulls acquire 2nd slot in MLS Allocation Order and int’l roster slot from Toronto FC for $575,000 in 2022 GAM.
4. NY Red Bulls acquire 1st slot in MLS Allocation Order from FC Cincinnati for $100,000 in 2022 GAM and 2nd slot in MLS Allocation Order.
5. RB Leipzig loans Clark to NY Red Bulls for 2022 season with the option to extend loan.
Note: 3. and 4. were necessary because of 1. Clark needed to go through the MLS Allocation process as a former MLS player returning to MLS after joining a non-MLS club for an outgoing transfer fee of $500,000 or more.
