On Tuesday, U.S. Soccer should have a better idea whether its joint proposal with Canada and Mexico to get its World Cup 2026 bid fast-tracked with a “non-competitive window” will fly. The FIFACouncil will review the proposal on Tuesday ahead of a vote of the FIFA Congress on Thursday in Manama, Bahrain, and it seems to have the backing of FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
