Santiago Gimenez missing from the spot against Suriname in its 2-0 Concacaf Nations League win last week prompted TUDN to compile a montage of Mexico’s penalty kick failures. They include Ethan Horvath stopping Andres Guardado‘s effort in the 2021 Concacaf Nations League final in the USA’s 3-2 win. A rematch is possible in June as Mexico, which won its group with 2-2 tie with Jamaica on Sunday, also qualified for the final four. Others featured in the collection are unsuccessful efforts from Marcelo Flores in Mexico’s home game against Suriname in this season’s Concacaf Nations, Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Raúl Jiménez.
