The Bayern Munich-Borussia Dortmund “Klassiker” quickly turned into a routine win for the 10-time defending Bundesliga champion. Dayot Upamecano‘s 68-yard shot (or pass) hit the BVB net in the 13th minute thanks to goalkeeper Gregor Kobel‘s colossal whiff at the edge of the penalty area. Thomas Müller‘s two goals gave Bayern a 3-0 halftime lead and Kingsley Coman made it for 4-0 before late goals by BVB’s Emre Can and Donyell Malen.
