The former New Zealand international Tyler Boyd  who now plays for the USA scored Besiktas’ lone goal with a sharp strike, after a swift cut to shed his marker, in a 3-1 EuropaLeague loss to Sporting Braga. Boyd’s goal equalized the game at the 29th minute mark, but Barga scored either side of a Besiktas red card to Jermain Lens on the way to victory. Besiktas remainswithout a point after four Group K games.
