Good morning! U.S. Soccer announced on Friday that its three-time women’s world deaf championship national team will face Australia June 1 as the first game of a doubleheader with the USWNT, which will face South Korea in Emma Hayes’ debut game in Colorado. One of the most impressive moves the federation has made in the last year is to integrate the activities of its extended national teams and the two high-profile teams, the USWNT and USMNT. The USA-Australia friendly will mark several firsts: the first extended national team match U.S. Soccer will air with its partners (truTV and Max) and the first with a presenting sponsor (Volkswagen).
